WTS technicians pay close attention to the mechanical process of all equipment within the plants they manage. They search for opportunities to improve existing equipment functioning and provide solutions to reduce unnecessary operational costs for the plant. By improving mechanical functioning of existing equipment the plants are able to reduce costs as evidenced by a recent drum filter restoration WTS successfully implemented.
WTS was given a difficult assignment of making the Waste Water Treatment Plant filter drum operational again. The plant had not operated the drum filter for several years and was paying an excess amount of money in additional operational costs due to vacuum trucks. They were also facing additional expenses in new capital equipment.
